After discovering his passion for large animal work while working throughout country QLD, Dr Lachie Cameron – and his now-wife Jordan - decided to start a mobile veterinary clinic focusing on equine and production-based services upon their return home to South Australia.
Since establishing Cameron Veterinary Services in early 2020, Dr Lachie and his team have become well-known for providing individualised, high-quality veterinary care to large animals across the Adelaide Hills and greater Adelaide region.
In mid-2022, Cameron Veterinary Services expanded its services to dogs and cats in the local area, with the opening of a purpose-built veterinary clinic in the Springwood Place shopping precinct in East Gawler.
In April 2025, a second small animal clinic was opened in Mount Pleasant, extending the same high standard of care available in the Gawler vet clinic to the local Mount Pleasant community. The small animal clinics offer a full range of veterinary services for dogs and cats and continue the focus on personalised care that is synonymous with the Cameron Veterinary Services name.
